The following guidelines are based on recommendations from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
Minimum of 8 to 10 exercises
Involve major muscle groups
Minimum of 2 times weekly
Minimum of 1 set of 8 to 12 repetitions of each exercise
Resistance that causes “near fatigue”
